Scott Cumpston

Scott became a United States Marine in 1998. After years of wartime deployments, Scott continued as a Defense Intelligence Contractor, Private Security Professional, Firearms Instructor and Family Safety Consultant.

Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Scott has travelled the world and had the chance to operate in some of the world’s most hostile climates—and in his own neighborhoods.

Having returned to the Pacific Northwest, Scott has refined his security focus to the corporate and executive protection theaters—providing great insight to the customer and client services facets of security.

With opportunities to pass on his foreign and domestic experience, Scott began developing and teaching crisis resolution classes with focuses on:

  • Defensive firearms tactics and certifications

  • Family Safety

  • Client services and de-escalation

  • Executive protection

  • Casualty triage and care

  • Covert surveillance and surveillance detection

Scott and his wife have five children—and find that these skills have numerous applications and unlimited benefit to his family. One of his greatest joys is watching young people become more cunning, adept, aware and “survive-able” in their dangerously growing worlds.

Scott is certified by:

  • NRA as a Pistol Instructor and Chief Range Safety Officer

  • Oregon DPSST as an Armed Security Instructor, Supervisor, Security Provider, and graduate of their Handgun Instructor Development Course
